How It Works
Behavior Rings turns positive behavior into something kids can see, hold, and celebrate. The system is simple: set a goal, reward the behavior right away, track progress with rings, and trade earned rings for a reward.
How the Behavior Change System Works
1. Set the goal
Pick the behavior you want to encourage. Start with one or two clear goals so the user knows exactly what to do.
Examples: go to bed on time, complete homework, follow directions, finish a morning routine, clean up toys, groom self, or practice calm behavior.
2. Reward instantly
When the desired behavior happens, give a Behavior Ring right away. Immediate rewards help connect the behavior with the positive result.
Attach earned rings to the anchor ring included with the kit.
3. Watch it stick
Behavior Rings makes progress visible. The user can see, hold, and carry their earned rings, which helps keep the goal at the front of their mind.
The system can be used anytime and almost anywhere.
4. Trade up
Once enough rings are earned, the user can trade them in for a reward you choose together.
Examples: play at the park, visit a friend’s house, choose a game, pick a family activity, earn screen time, or take a trip to a bookstore or toy store.
5. Build the habit
Consistency turns small wins into lasting change. Use the behavior chart included with the kit to track progress and help the routine become easier over time.
Most Behaviors become a habit after consistently using system for 30 days
